I'm just getting into the details, but the AG says the transportation ministry knew the costs would be higher than $1 billion as early as 2016, but did not communicate this to the city or other stakeholders.
Metrolinx has spent $171 million so far on the failed #HamOnt #LRT project.
The 58 properties that were acquired are sitting empty while committees decide what to do with a billion dollars for transit for #HamOnt.
Another $22 million in decommissioning costs are still expected. News conference coming up.
