Particularly over the summer, it felt like we were living this cycle of “Media reports on teacher fears that have been generally created and stoked by media.”
Yet we could barely find coverage of the positive stories, even thought they existed (REC centers, Europe reopening)...

Journalists could do children a solid and start telling more stories that normalize open schools... both with the stats on the extent of reopening, per above, & the color commentary, such as @DonnaStGeorge on Bethlehem, @EricaLG on Baltimore reopenings. https://www.washingtonpost.com/education/pennsylvania-school-in-person-classes/2020/11/12/c3119142-13a7-11eb-ba42-ec6a580836ed_story.html
