I see a lot of well-meaning people talking about how they want their kids to have Muslim rep/see Muslim rep and haven't been able to find it. Do I have some names/lists for you lovelies!
First of all, look up @SalaamReads! First traditional publishing imprint entirely devoted to Muslim stories and voices and with a plethora of INCREDIBLE picture books by luminaries such as @aishacs, @jtbigelow (Mommy's Khimar gave me the rep I needed so much), and @RGui8!
(There are also incredible, award-winning MG and YA titles from @henakhanbooks, @KarunaRiazi - ahem - @yesitshanna, @SajidahWrites and more!)
I'm always scared of missing people, so look - a lot of great people have made lists on this topic!
