My political views (my opinion!), a thread:

(I'm more right leaning than left, however do not consider myself a conservative, as you can see, lots of my views are at odds with conservatism. Also I do endorse certain leftist ideas, but definitely not a leftist myself)
Economy: lower taxes and cut back government as much as possible. Charge everyone as little tax as possible. Roll back regulations. Kinda like a hybrid of Reaganomics and Trump's strategy.
Healthcare: up to the people, hold a vote to see whether they prefer private or public healthcare and then go with the majority. Personally I prefer public.
Laws: strict, no nonsense enforcement. Criminals must comply fully with police commands, failure to do so permits use of force. Also no tolerance for intrusive protest. Protests must be held on private land. Not permitted to inconvenience the public.
Equality: equal opportunities for all, no tolerance for racist or sexist hiring practices. No matter WHO it benefits.
Military: keep it big, national defense forces should be feared.
Abortions: Whilst a fetus is dependent on its mother for survival, then abortions are fine, late term however is a big no no.
Transgender: People may indentify however they like, however they cannot enforce their views onto other people. Additionally, sex changes and any medical complications that arise as a result of sex changes, or other surgeries they have chosen to have, are not paid for by taxpayer
Gay marriage: Unpopular with conservatives, but I fully support gay marriage. People don't choose to be gay, there's no reason why they shouldn't be allowed marrige.
Porn: Didn't realise this, but most conservatives do not like porn, and may favour a porn ban. I do not. I believe in a free and open internet.
Government style: I quite like the idea of a libertarian-ish conservatism. No legalisation of drugs, or public access to firearms, but no authoritarianism. Government serves the people. No restriction on freedom (lockdowns) or free speech should ever be tolerated.
Gun rights: In the UK we have no constitutional right to bear arms. I am a big fan of this, as while crime numbers may be similar, less fatal crimes and less readily available weapons are a benefit. Specialist armed police should have assault rifles however.
Education: Schools should be prohibited from teaching political opinion. Lessons about history and different cultures should be taught objectively.
News: News organisations should be prohibited from having a politcal bias. should report purely objectively and allow the public to make up their own minds. Political biases are only permitted to be broadcast on shows that classify themselves as "opinion" shows, not news.
Schools pt2: teachers should be paid more! Lessons such as maths & R.E. should be replaced with lessons on taxes, cooking, driving, applying for a job, how to save money, how mortgages work, how to survive various scenarios, more extensive first aid and sex ed as well as law.
Border control: very tight borders, you're only allowed into the country if you are are going to provide value to the country, similar structure to what Australia has now.
Climate: attention to climate, and big investment into battery and solar technology. However not damaging the economy for the sake of the environment
Farming: stricter standards implemented to ensure that all farm animals are treated well and dispatched humanely.
Fast fashion: Places like Primark, are directly supporting fast fashion. Research it if you aren't aware of it. I would want to ensure that businesses are only allowed to sell in the country if they are not exploiting sweatshop workers in poor conditions.
Roads: man roads need so much work. Remove pot holes nation wide, reaudit speed limits to more sensible levels. No longer will we have long straight roads miles away from houses and schools restricted to just 30mph. Abolish speedhumps and other dangerous obstacles. Continued...
Roads pt2: only permitted to use a road if you are able to maintain 80% of the speed limit always (with sensible deceleration for corners). This should make roads safer for all, and means that cyclists and horse riders, as well as slow drivers, should no longer be on the roads.
Roads pt3: Raise motorway outside lane speed limit to 100mph, and only available for use by those who have passed an advanced driving course. Cameras will enforce this, with fines for non compliance.
Renewed focus on mental health, and more investment in support structures. Promotion of anonymous chat lines for people who are really struggling. Suicide rate is a huge problem that NEEDS addressing.
For first time offenders (Minor crimes), much more focus on rehabilitation. Nicer prisons, more education, more sunlight and access to facilities. We want to give people a second chance at their lives. Additionally, criminal record wiped after a year for first time offenders.
Repeat offenders however get no preferential treatment. If they throw away their second chance then much harsher and more punishing sentences follow.

Just my opinion here, feel free to disagree! Just the tip of this iceberg. I'd say I'm center right. Neither fully Dem or Tory
