Genuine question, it doesn’t come from a place of fear or anger or whining, but what conversations are going on between MinDiv, dioceses, & vocations departments?

I’m part of the group that the church actively courted (hello to my less than 30 years old femaleness!). https://twitter.com/ChurchTimes/status/1335957471710629888
We were told the church missed us! (Women/people of colour/under 30s) We were told the church needed us! (Retirements causing imminent clergy collapse) Also, with humility, God called us (& that’s fine, I did tell God I wanted to write screenplays but whatevs).
Now we’re the group that watches clergy be made redundant, that receives emails releasing us unexpectedly for curacy or asking if we could go NSM, that hasn’t been invited to the conversations about the church’s future.
This matters. My generation is the first in recent history to not be better off than their parents. We don’t own property or have savings. We were born into the 90s recession, matured in the 2008 recession, & will be ordained into *gestures at the state of the world*
And that’s okay. It’s scary. But when was following Jesus ever not scary? It’s a bit stressful not knowing if there’s a job waiting at the end of 6/7 years of training. But as someone who really cares about vocations, are we being honest?
I was told the church wanted me & my friends & now it’s not so sure. What are the moral implications of our vocations work at the moment? God never stops calling people but do we have to be brutally honest as the church right now?
