I think it is no coincidence that we turned in our best performance of the season with the fans back. Even just 2000 of them.

I mentioned in the @Podcast_WFH podcast previewing the season that I believed the lack of fans would negatively impact Liverpool more than most sides. https://twitter.com/Anfieldfans/status/1335918160948695041
Because Klopp has made a point of building that connection between the two - performances and support. It started by pointing out how alone he and the team were when we walked out before the end of the came against Palace - the last time we lost a league match at home.
Then when in a similar situations weeks later, when we stayed to support the team when behind, we got a late equaliser and he thanked us for doing so.
And destroyed Barcelona, turning back what many considered an insurmountable lead from the first leg - they lined up in the same way to thank us again.
Some don't understand it, and mocked what he was doing. Others are just jealous that the same bond between fans and team doesn't exist at their club. It has been a powerful thing for us in winning #6 and #19 - and I think the job the players have done without us there, and with
a squad ravaged by injury, is just amazing. I'll be honest, I have mentally written off this season in my head at times. When you lose the quantity and quality of players we have to long term injuries in a short space of time, a huge drop is to be expected. But Klopp has built a
machine where the parts are interchangeable. He doesn't need the best cog in the world to keep it running, any cog that fits will do. Of course, the higher the quality of the parts, the easier and smoother it will run. But he's still got results for us during this crazy period!
With players starting to return from injury. The January window around the corner where we can hopefully add some relief at CB, and now fans returning to the stadium too - I'm totally ready for an all-out assault on the two major competitions this season.
