People keep asking me why I don't express outrage over Trump's "sore loser tantrum" (their words, not mine). My response is the same: I cannot be made to care.
I watched Gore spend 6 weeks trying to illegally overturn the 2000 results while the media fapped itself with glee over every action he and his team of lawyers took.
I watched Rossi's "loss" in 2004; also watched Kerry wage a fruitless battle in OH and the media refuse to call the election until he finally conceded.

I watched Franken's "win" over Coleman.
I watched the Democrat House in 1984 seat the Dem loser in a race and now I'm watching a couple of Dem call for Pelosi to seat them instead of the GOP winners.
Honestly, I'm surprised all the losers in GOP flip districts aren't asking for the same thing. Because what's the fallout if Pelosi DID seat them? Nothing.
There is absolutely no fallout, no blowback, no media outrage at Democrat perfidy, malfeasance, or outright theft (see also 1984 House seat). So I will be damned if I'm going to offer outrage about Trump's actions, regardless of my opinion about it.
"But we should be better than this!" - they cry

Me: Uh no, we shouldn't. If the whole thing is an effing joke, then everyone gets to be the Joker, regardless of political party.
Do I think Trump is likely to prevail? I don't, but that's irrelevant. The game has been played a certain way by one party for decades and almost no one said boo. You'll forgive me if I cannot bring myself to care in this instance.
This garbage has been going on for a long time and outside of a few loud and lonely voices, no one cared. Guess what? I don't care now. Whatever happens, happens, and all of your "threat to democracy" cries will be discarded like the refuse that they are.
