throwing out "oh this corporation sucks? well MINE is better!" is gonna be a cycle at this point since they're always gonna be under fire for something. nintendo in particular has been doing a *lot* of bad within such a short time but sega's not much better
i know people will throw the "sega treats its fans better" argument because of sonic mania but sega is not a powerhouse like nintendo is, or atleast not to the same degree. i agree to a degree but literally nothing is stopping them from pulling a nintendo. they have that power.
don't forget that this is the same sega that not only crunched its employees to hell and back with Sonic Xtreme and Golden Axe 2010 but also slapped all of the workers on the latter game in the face by rereleasing it with a new title and also practically insulting them in the bio
