@KenCarman Development isn't linear and most fans are upset he isn't Mahomes, which isn't fair to him. At OU he was deadly accurate and efficient. The OU offense was, compared to other top teams, very run heavy that utilized play action/zone read and let him do what he did
yesterday. It what he did as a rookie and lost in 2019. I don't think we can truly understand how bad 2019 was for his mindset, confidence and growth. He played blindfolded for most of the year and when 2020 didn't start well due to shortened offseason in new offense, the
fanbase got ansty. You're seeing a player find comfort with new play caller and vice versa. This is who he is and can be. Finally, I think they have a coach/GM who understands that and can coach to his strengths.
