I’m sorry but the big gardening industry is behaving just as they did in 2011 when a compost rep told me there’d be no ban on peat extraction, and the industry would ensure that.
To call Monty ignorant is rude. To suggest the industry is going its best is bullshit.

By now we should be at an 80% reduction.
By now gardening should acknowledge the harm peat, plastic, chemicals, etc are doing and should have become regenerative.
Frankly @TheAGTeam should be asking themselves why they aren’t supporting the future of gardening and not the past

But no. The old excuses are coming out again and again.
Revive, regenerate, diversify and look at what is going on.
Stop behaving like a sad tabloid.

Just in case you were wondering, #peatfree is the only compost that’s sustainable unless you make your own.

And gardening must become regenerative in the true meaning of the word. Because it can regenerate people, communities, nature, biodiversity.......
But at the moment it’s just another hobby that’s all about buying stuff-which it’s not!
