CQC is speaking to @GreatOrmondSt about its handling of 5-year-old Walif Yafi's death. It settled a claim from his parents, denying responsibility, in Sept but admitted to @Independent it had an expert report that said errors did materially contribute to his death #GOSHsafety
A spokesperson for @NHSResolution added: “We always encourage trusts to be entirely open with families, in line with their duty of candour and irrespective of legal privilege. This is the right thing to do and is the best way to learn from events and improve.”
