In this little twitter thread here, I'm going to show some appreciation to Virtua Fighter's amazing throw animations. Starting with Masato Tanaka's Diamond Dust. I especially love the way the opponent animates standing back up and staggers around a bit before falling down.
Here we have Dragon Kid's Deja Vu. You Jay Cee players from Tag 2 probably remember this one.

I'm not sure who in pro wrestling made this suplex fake out into a superkick famous, but it is definitely one of my favorite animations.
One of Marufuji's more infamous finishers, Pole Shift, actually gets a shout out in a fighting game for once.
Speaking of Marufuji, did you know that some of the VF cast have unique command grabs when the wall is to the opponent's back? Here's the Shiranui, or what most of you probably know of as the Sliced Bread #2.
