#StartUp Drama: Startups already make distruption into our of everyday life, but the concept still foreign to the general public. Making startup into drama themes, makes it more familiar to wider audiences. Startup stakeholders definitely happy, excited & thankful about that.
The good: as far as potraying glimpses of #StartUp as an ecosystem, this drama do well (until ep. 12). Many terms used in start up business are explained. What happen during startup accelerator recidency and the valuation of preseed startup are well research (make sense).
The good: the investment aspect, mainly about type of investors of startup (what is angel investor, venture capitalist, limited partner etc) and their traits also well research. There are glimpses of funding series.
The bad: Not enough emphasis on what it takes to be a good startup founders. Here the founders have many pitfall. They do a lot "what not to do" as founders. Many viewers failed to saw the mistakes because failed to understand the context and how startup ecosystem work.
The bad: It was promoted as youth coding drama, but the coding aspects are the weakest, only used as a prop in the LCD monitors. Programmers are potrayed as ransomware hackers or savior. Which Samsan tech guy are fullstack, back-end, front-end programmers? Language used?
The bad: almost nothing about #startup product development process (lean startup, ideo, etc), agile product development. Okay there's a glimpse of product market fit and feed back but that's all.
The bad: almost nothing about the infrastructure and the hardware. Nothing about cloud scalability. Their solution involving a lot of Internet of Things (IoT), but never once I saw their AI CCTV. Okay there are single board appear as cameo.
The good: the accelerator interior are to die for. Hello beanbags, seems comfy. The stage to do the pitch is awesome, also the auditorium. Office interior: the desk and the chair are programmers dream. Got two Smeg fridge and one microwave.
