The Elections are contested in Court until 12/14/20 when each State Electoral College meets and votes for a slate of Electors who will cast votes in the Presidential Electoral College.

A joint session of Congress counts the vote and declares the winner of the Presidential Election.

Up to Midday (EST) 20th January 2021 -
If there is no winner because neither candidate reaches the majority of Electoral votes (say because some States votes have been voided) then it goes to a run-off in the House where each State gets one vote.

All of the above dates are only Federal Laws except for the Date/Time of the Inauguration - which is alone written in the Constitution
