What’s the most random place you’ve seen someone you know?

A couple of years back I saw a guy from my workplace of 12 people) in regional Queensland) in Venice, not knowing prior that he was even travelling to Europe.

I was on a ferry and he just floated past in a gondola.

Less random but infinitely more thrilling for 16yo me was when I saw the boy from school that I had the biggest crush on, at a Driver Reviver in the middle of nowhere at about 3am and hours from our home town. I was there with my family and he showed up with his, only ones there.
