1. Duck Hunt. I was 4 and we had just moved to the states. Anyone else remember the “cheat” of shooting at a lamp in the room for an instant kill?lol
2. Tifa Lockhart. Strong, badass, good heart and pretty. She was the most fun character to play in the FFVII remake too

3. Terranigma on SNES. That game was so good and in retrospect, hella dark and complex despite it seeming like a lighthearted JRPG in the outset. I didn’t fully understand a lot of it when I played it as a kid, but still remember feeling chilled at some of the plot twists.
4. Harvest Moon. Sometimes you just want to lose yourself on a farm chopping wood, picking fruit, collecting eggs and befriending little harvest sprites. None of the sequels have ever lived up to the original imo. Also don’t ever compare Harvest Moon to FarmVille okayyy?

5. Vivi from FFIX. Clumsy, self doubting, but finds courage and confidence through overcoming hardships. Also in a constant state of existential dread.
6. Aerith Gainsborough. Don’t @ me.
7. Rinoa & Squall. FFVIII didn’t age well at all, but that ballroom dance scene and “Eyes On Me” will always have a special place in my heart

8. Suteki da Ne from FFX. A beautifully composed song w/ a poignant orchestral accompaniment.
9. Arthur Morgan’s last ride

10. RDR2. This game has ruined open-world RPGs for me.
11. PS5 bc after all the effort I put into getting one, I’d be crazy not to!!
12. Chrono Trigger

13. Ninja Turtles III: Manhattan Project
