There was a great devotee of Bhagwan Vishnu, Sree Vilvamangalam Swami or Bilvamgala swamy.

When Vilvamangalam Swami was doing tapasya, Krishna appeared before him disguised as a little boy.Vilvamangalam asked to boy to stay with him. The boy who accepted it, set a condition 👇
that whenever he feels humiliated he will leave the place at once. Boy served the sage for sometime. But soon his naughtiness became intolerable for the sage and he reacted. Humiliated, the boy disappeared from there after proclaiming that if Vilwamangalam wants to see him👇
He would have to go to Ananthankadu, the forest of serpent Anantha.

Vilwamangalam soon realized that the boy was Vishnu himself. He found a cave at the place where the boy disappeared. He went through the cave and reached the seashore and from there travelled southwords👇
searching Ananthankadu. At last the sage reached a place which is the present location of Thiruvanathapuram Anantha Padmanabhaswamy, where he had Darshan of Vishnu.
