I think a big issue in fifa 21 is that the menu content is absolutely dreadful.
Fifa 20 gameplay was bad, but you could always grind a league sbc or bpm or something
In 21, the only thing you can do without losing loads of coins is buying packs with FP

Even silver lounge isn't that fun anymore bc it's just shit inconsistent sluggish gameplay and while I appreciate the effort to make gameplay rewards viable, the gameplay itself is still awful and you've taken the other alternative (menus)

Even if EA suddenly starts pricing sbcs correctly and makes player objectives obtainable in 3 games, it doesn't matter bc the gameplay at any level is blatantly unenjoyable, even when you're not playing meta
A perfect example is summer heat fifa 20 when you got all the cards, looked at them, tried then for 2 games and left. You didn't do them bc you wanted to keep playing, you did it bc of FOMO

I will happily sit here and grind packs even if I don't use the players/coins after but the fact the only way to get packs is gameplay or FP is pointless to me
TLDR: we all know this game runs on packs but by forcing us to play shit gameplay or buy FP to keep grinding packs, EA is killing the game
