* Mitzvah to have festive meals according to Midrash & Megillas Taanis, quoted by YSS+Rema+MA+GRA etc 2/
* Lighting must be in a way that publicizes the miracle
* Lights have holy status & their light may only be looked at, not used for any purpose
* Public Torah reading every day
