im sorry but everything about these teaser pics is bothering me so i have to let it out. the photography job as a whole is so bad i can't even let it slide
first of all, the framing like?? your background is so symmetrical the photograph must have been drunk to epically fail like this, any first year photography student would have done a better job. a closer crop without the roof and stupid chandelier would made it slightly better
lightning? also shit. decor lightning is so yellow they all look, orange? you can tell the rooms were way too dark because of the amount of flash and studio light they brought to make it decent,
except it makes it looks super cheap: light is too direct, too strong, no shadow, everything slightly shining or lacquered surface reflect your studio light and, it shouldn't?
the decor and setting look super cheap and fake. i think the fake european furniture /could/ work if the pics weren't that bad, but lightning and framing makes it look like a home decor catalogue, the floor lamp? and ugly hanging system? the stain on the crown molding??
literally, half of the lampshades are crooked and apparently the place ran out of light bulbs

get a stepladder, get a chair, step on the back of siwon if needed but i swear to you it's not too hard to fix

the props.... like, did you forget to buy props? did you ask the interns to bring whatever they had home last minute? the obvious apple juice in the carafes, the 3 and a half blueberries on the cake stand? the 4 oysters? the?? label?? still?? on? the? damn? apple??
in case you were wondering, you are NOT drunk, the table is indeed all misshapen because they assembled it with their eyes closed. the feet of the table aren't parallel nor evenly spaced?? the table top is also closer to you on the left side. and the obvious dust on the feet

all these tiny little things that you should either see when you take the photographs or at least try to edit later on? bent carpet, loose thread, ugly soles, your main point of focus (the hand of one of the member!!) being blurry when it shouldn't?
the outfits are also.... i mean, they're obviously cheap suits with aliexpress stones and appliques glued on. they could do a better job on rupaul's drag race. the fabrics and accessories in general are also super poor quality.
i don't mind cheap outfits, like, in concerts, they're dancing, singing, sweating, in the dark with strobes lights and you're like at least 100 meters away from them so they don't /need/ expensive outfits. but man... come on now, it's their 10th album/15th anniversary pics...
and last, but not least, just in general the color editing... the pictures were obviously too dark to begin with so none of the blacks are actually blacks, everything is super grey and pixelated. i even have a hard time believing this could look any good printed on an actual book
the pictures they usually post on twitter are almost high definition (twitter doesn't make you loss a lot of quality when you upload a pic) and it's never ever pixelated. if i didn't know any better i could think these pics were taken with like, a good phone, not an actual camera
i'm trying to make it look like something funny but tbh i'm mad. regardless of the concept itself, SM always produces VERY good quality pics. Their art direction and production teams ARE talented. These pics look like they're straight out of random wannabe photographer ig account
these pics are artistically absolute garbage and label sj should be ashamed to let something like this slide for SJ 15TH ANNIVERSARY and 10TH ALBUM. everything was obviously rushed and trashed and idk ONE person in the art field that would actually be proud of such kind of work.
