I wanted to write a thread about how we need to bridge the gap between madrassah and maktab.

How the two offer complementary skillsets and how the flourishment of both in a mutually exclusive manner has been one of the biggest causes of the fragmentation of AFG society...
How, currently, proponents of both sides despise the other, considering them as subhumans, & how this has fueled the current conflict.

How the two act as fertile ground for recruitment to both sides & how casually attacks on these institutions are justified by their opponents...
How, if we want to end the schism in our society, then we need to either eradicate one of them (tried and failed by proponents of both systems) or integrate them.

Then I remember this is just a ploy to get parliamentary approval and will be repealed at earliest convenience.
