1. He subtly (but perhaps not intentionally) ascribes severe acts of abuse (e.g. Ravi Zacharias' sexual predation) to the issue that some ministers are "untested and untried". No; this was predation, and a series of increasingly depraved choices made the predation possible.

I feel this kind of plays into the delusion many Christian men have that
3. attractive women will always attempt to try their chastity. Overwhelmingly, spiritual leaders/pastors try to seduce their targets. I think the article was good and that French's heart is in the right place, but the article overall seems asleep to the nature of predation in Christian circles. He is definitely right, though, that celebrity plays a key role in creating a predator/victim dynamic.
