2. Yes, the festival lasts for eight nights. We light one more candle each night as we increase the light of hope, dignity, and justice.

Chanukkah is a relatively minor holiday. It’s ok. We’re good with it.

“Happy Chanukkah” is a perfectly acceptable greeting to Jews.
If you wanna get uber-fancy & try it in Hebrew, you can say, "Chanukkah Sameyach."

Jews do not agree on how to spell the holiday in English, so please, don’t worry about it. In Hebrew, we got it:

7. We eat a lot of fried foods during Chanukkah to remind us of the miracle of the oil, including latkes (potato pancakes), fried donuts & more (see above).
