listen. i supported twenty one pilots since late 2016. they were my favorite band in the entire world, it's literally partly because of them that i am where i am now. but tyler's actions, not only recently but also years back, were wrong. you have to acknowledge this.
his unwillingness to properly apologize for the things he's said and done shows that he's immature and doesn't take racial injustice as seriously as he should. you can't excuse his actions. for fucks sake, he literally defended his actions in his so-called "apology."
the amount of nonblack people—not only white people, i mean all nonblack people—who have "accepted" his apology have no right. his shitty black lives matter statement does not affect you. stop trying to fight black people on their own issues, you will not win.
all we need you to do is educate yourself and listen to us. arguing with us about things that solely affect us does absolutely nothing but anger people. y'all jump through hoops to defend tyler joseph as if that's gonna make all his actions disappear. just stop it.
