Russian Konstantin Ponomarev was a partner at a Lawfirm based in Moscow started by Americans Firestone and Duncan. Konstantin recruited Sergei Magnitsky to the lawfirm. Magnitsky died in Russian prison during pre trial detention for tax fraud. F & D were Browder/Hermitage lawyers

Konstantin left law firm after a dispute with Jamie Firestone and started his own business. He was a witness in the criminal cases against Browder and Magnitsky that resulted in a conviction of Browder and denial of "rehabilitation" post mortem of Sergei Magnitsky

Konstantin Ponomarev got in a dispute also with IKEA, when he was accused of price gouging his generators to them after they tried to avoid price gouging by circumventing local Russian utilities for their stores and rented generators instead.

Ponomarev was eventually jailed for a couple of months for another dispute over his generator business when he rented to areas in Crimea.

Another Russian lawyer who also got into a dispute with IKEA was Natalia Veselnitskaya. She represented an anonymous collective farm owner who sued IKEA for building offices on his land. Veselnitskaya also represented The Katsyv father and son in various cases in the world.

One case involving the Katsyv father, Minister of Transport in Russia was an extortion case where Demetri Baranovsky went to jail for 17 years for extorting $30 million dollars from Mr Katsyv. The other suspect fled to America and lives in Florida convicted in abstentia

Andrei Stolbunov, Barnovsky's partner convicted in the $30 million dollars extortion ring says he was politically persecuted for being a witness in the Prevezon/Katsyv case . Veselnitskaya defended Katsyv in case in SDNY.

Veselnitskaya was smeared by a Russian journalist Vladmir Solovyou and successfully sued Spravedilvost for the libel campaign they carried on their website about her and her client. Spravedivost founder, Baranovsky, convicted 17 years for extortion of Katsyv.

Glenn Simpson in his Senate Testimony stated Bill Browder was connected to Demetri Baranovsky and Solntsevo mafia crime family in Russia in which Moglievich was part of. This is on Page 39 on Glenn's Senate testimony and I think interesting reading.
