I genuinely pity a good number in the UK's liberal-left cultural circles.

Whether it is #Brexit or #BLM, the degree to which they fail to understand many within their own country is remarkable.

Much of it is the result of being sheltered in their "progressive" echo chambers.
Voting to leave the EU? Must be a case of racism and xenophobia.

Opposition to taking a knee to express solidarity with BLM? Must be a case of racism and xenophobia.

For a supposedly enlightened, well-educated lot, their explanations for the behaviour of others is pretty dire.
There are a range of perfectly legitimate reasons for being a British Eurosceptic,
or having serious concerns over the BLM movement.

Reasons which are not remotely associated with racist beliefs.

Constantly peddling accusations of racism, undermines the anti-racist movement.
