A THREAD:

Reasons I love Naruto and you should watch/read it.
Reason 1// Fights

It's a battle shonen, so of course fights will be a heavy aspect of the show. Still, fights in Naruto feels different to me. The impact and interactions it created are much better than other shows to me. It connects you to the story easily and art is great.
Reason 2// Characters

If like to watch stories that are more character-driven, than Naruto is the thing for you. The cast is fantastic, and extremely loveable. Some might argue, it has forgettable characters but there's more than enough you ain't forgetting for a LONG time.
I mean come on, they gave my goat an entire arc about his revenge and character growth. Kishimoto sensei a legend for that.
Reason 3// Lessons

You can make jokes and all, but I think being a shonen a show's goal should also be to educate the young ones. I myself am a teen, I used to watch Naruto as a kid too. Naruto shaped my life and heart in a way that I can bring into words. It made me think.
Reason 4// "Talk no Jutsu"

Make all jokes you want, but this is ONE OF THE BEST WAY. I truly believe we as human do not talk, do not know each others. That's the reason we fight. Talking and understanding could've solved a lot of rl issues. Ask Thorfinn, he can vouch.
Reason 5// Bonds

Naruto really made me seat back and think about what my bonds with people around me are and how I respect those. Thanks to Kishimoto for this.
Reason 6// Showing Feeling

This is an important one. I love the show for this. Kakashi, a gifted legend, smiles behind his depression. Shikamaru, a genius is a fool when it comes to feelings. Naruto, likes to be alone at his lowest. Obito, an innocent soul driven to insanity. -
They don't show it always, but at their downfall they gave some of the best scenes I've experienced.
Reason 7// Obito

This is a personal one. I fucking love Obito. Even all my irl knows me as a Obito simp. So, that's that.
Reason 8// It Stuck With Me

It's been years I've watched Naruto and I still love it. I've seen it all, the terrible memes, the cursed shippings, the toxic fandom, the haters. Nothing affected how I view the show itself. I think that's a huge thing. I love it.
I can say a lot, but it's late in the night. I think you get the point.

Goodnight.
