Asking for higher donations and giving perks is not unheard of for non-profits.
I used to work for one and higher end donors would get school visits, personalized updates, phone calls, videos, a table at the end of year celebration where they could be recognized and a lot more.

That is not to say we didn’t appreciate smaller donors. We did!
We called every donor no matter how small on a single day of the year. Part of our donation application was a phone number.
Is $3000 a lot? Yes and they recognize that hence the added thank you.

It shouldn’t be about the zoom calls. It should be about the cause which is a great one.
If you can apply to give that much money, well I’m so happy for you and that you are. If you can’t, there are other ways you can that are just as meaningful.
