Somebody should remind Arsenal fans about the shit Liverpool were in before Rodgers took over, and even he took about 18 months to show signs of progress.

Success is not an overnight outcome. Its years and years of hard work, grit, patience, and absolute perseverance.
Always believed that emotions should never cloud our judgement about reality.

Arteta clearly stated that this is going to be a long haul project.

Yes, we're mediocre now, but you have to give the man a chance. He has asked for 3 years. Give him the 3 years.
Wenger was right in saying that you don't take 3 years to make an impact. Arteta had an immediate impact in 6 months by getting us the FA Cup.

Are you going to call those victories over Man City and Chelsea as flukes?

Come on man, Stop being so reactionary. Does no good.
Yes, some of the issues we see now are very amateur and not expected at a top club. What people must accept is that we are not a top club. We're a great club, but we're not top at the moment and we haven't been for a long time. Doesn't mean we won't be top again.
It happens to every single football club. It's part of the cycle.

But at some stage we need to stick with someone and believe in the process. Or, we'll just be a revolving door of managers in a vicious cycle of crap.

I think Arteta deserves the chance.
I think it will get worse than what we are now, before it starts getting better.

Arteta has proven that he knows his football. He's probably getting it wrong because he is still figuring out the right squad blend.

Not everyone wins a league title in their first full season.
