If you consider what these treatments entail, you will see that despite the fact sex can't be changed, distressed children are encouraged to take dangerous experimental drugs, which have no proven benefits and many proven harms, in order to cosmetically modify their appearance.

These treatments cause illness in themselves, suppression of hormones, puberty and maturation, bodies being flooded with huge doses of opposite sex hormones, and eventually, cosmetic surgeries, removal of healthy tissues such as uteruses and breasts and even castration.

This is the path almost 100% of children who are given puberty blockers end up pursuing. However, before this experiment was allowed, almost all children with the same type of distress, went on to grow out of it, develop normally, and become well-adjusted, often LGB, adults.

Much has been said about how this capture happened - body modification industry thriving in a niche specialty, activists capturing small committees that are writing policies, legal fiction, misrepresentation of laws, self-ID laws passed without consultations, secrecy, bullying.

Point is, it happened and by the time general public became aware, there was 4000% increase in children being subjected to these interventions, while ordinary professionals were muzzled by draconian diktats which often appeared out of nowhere, served by gender lobby groups.

Millions of hours of free labour by feminists, parents, detransitioners and conscientious professionals have resulted in the scandal finally being exposed. High Court has cut through the veil of threats and obfuscations and correctly identified grave concerns.

The law and safeguarding of children has been restored by a judgement that seeks to ensure gender dysphoric children have the same benefit of evidence-based medicine, and their Gillick competence was upheld, instead of being abused to justify adult experiments.

The issue now is that all our institutions have egg on their faces, and quite possibly, need to be held responsible for the harm that was caused, but also for breaking the social contract. How can they be trusted, when they allowed this to happen?

When they lied to themselves and others that males were females, that women defending their rights were "bigots", that it was acceptable to send male rapists into women's prisons and shelters and that it was fair to allow men to play contact sports against women?

Many words will be written about this in the coming years. I'm sure we all feel what this is about, patriarchy, capitalism, psychic epidemic, but right now the focus needs to be on our broken leadership that has thrown their authority behind a medical scandal that targeted kids.

Appeals to this broken authority are not going to work, because they have been judged on their own lack of data and evidence. And yes, it's extraordinary that ALL of them have been captured. That's the whole point, and the only way a scandal of this magnitude could occur.
