“Eri’s entire arc was compressed to 2 panels”

So we just gonna forget end of Overhaul, culture festival, and everything in between then and now where we saw Eri struggle with her power, her trauma, and her inability to help people

And people want ANOTHER depression arc jesus

If this happened in any other arc then I would say it definitely needed a more drawn out explanation

But this is during a war - stopping for a chapter or two just to explain this would KILL the flow of the story

And I’m not gonna judge Hori for choosing to put this in now

Cuz we KNOW the Mirio reveal has been set up for a while now. And if people actually think that Hori isn’t gonna come back to this and touch upon her training later on and give more thorough of an explanation then I’m sorry ur just being idiotic

And also

People saying “now that Eri knows how to use her quirk she is just gonna be a plot device to fix things”

Firstly, even if she was a master (WHICH SHE ABSOLUTELY ISNT) - we KNOW that her horn gets small after a use, meaning she can’t spam it

So, even if she were to try

She would not be able to just fix everything. That’s just stupid and you aren’t paying attention if you genuinely think that she would be able to.

Also 98% of what happened wouldn’t be able to be fixed by Eri ANYWAYS - I can only see body damage being repaired MAYBE

And on the question of “Eri shouldn’t be able to use her quirk so soon that well”

I think you forget that literally every kid in MHA save from Deku had a GOOD handle on their quirk by like 6 years old. They were born with it, just like Eri -

And they never got professional training to learn how to use it. They figured it out by themselves and then decided to become a hero or not.

Eri was forced into using her quirk like a machine - so she is aware of it’s abilities. Only after she was able to push past her trauma

Was she able to train how to activate and direct her power in order to help Mirio.

And we know there are drawbacks (her horn being gone) so don’t try and say she is an easy fix to everything cuz even if she could spam her quirk she would be pretty useless in fixing everything

Best thing she can do if she could spam her quirk is bring back Aizawa’s eye, heal Deku’s arms, and maybe help some Heroes who got insanely injured. That’s about it.

AND SHE CANT SPAM IT - 1 use only until her horn regrows. So stop worrying lmao
