🚨 PLEASE BE AWARE 🚨 The truth about PRYA
Apologies for the long thread, but I think it's worth a read.

If you can retweet to get the word out to the lovely kind people of #CatsOfTwitter and #dogsoftwitter then it would be of enormous benefit to real rescues 💖💖
2. PRYA's website. The header photo on their home page and the full text, have been lifted straight from that of a legitimate rescue.
They have a page for fundraisers. Including this one. As you can see the photos and text have been stolen from a genuine GFM by the dog's owner (the owner has been notified)
Another fundraiser is for this kitten. The text has been stolen from a GFM run by a legitimate rescue & the photo from another.
The third fundraiser is for this dog. The text & XRays have again been lifted from a GFM for a pet dog in Greece. The photo presumably from somewhere else, but I have been unable to find the source of that.
This is their Mission statement. Again lifted straight from that of a legitimate rescue, minus the picture.
It doesn't stop there though. Here is a composite image from their page, alongside the original from the Bangalore Mirror for the indicated picture.
Here's some puppies - along with the original from yet another legitimate rescue's FB page.
Here's a little black dog, along with the original FB post from a Romanian rescuer. A Google translation of her FB post tells us that this little soul, Greta, died on 19th November. PRYA used her image to raise funds for treatment on 31st Nov
Xray pictures stolen from the same Romanian Rescuer.
Some puppies. Pictures taken from yet another FB page. Far from needing help from PRYA these little darlings have fully recovered and been re-homed in the UK, thanks to the efforts of a genuine rescuer.
All in all there is absolutely nothing genuine about these people at all. It's a highly organised hot mess of stolen images and words some going back to 2018 - all with one purpose in mind - to relieve kind people of their cash and line their criminal pockets😡😡
