I always tell folk that twitter & social media is like everybody being in the mall at the same time. And what I mean by that is the mall in my hood Cheltenham mall open at 10am. And from 10am to about 5pm was all families & lil kids shopping.

Around 5pm is when the 12-14 crowd came to the mall to "act" like they ran the mall. But by 7/8pm is when they went home and then me & my crew, the 15 & older crowd came to the mall.

And THAT crew was the crew who stayed to go to the last 10pm movie at the mall that always got shot up. So why do I compare twitter to my neighborhood mall? Because NONE of us were at the mall at the same time because we ALL knew our place.

I NEVER had to worry about running into my sister who was 4 years younger than me because she had to be home by 7pm. We all had our age groups and we stayed in that age group AND that time slot.

Cause if a 13 year old tried to hang out at the mall after 9pm or even tried to go to the 10pm movie he was gonna end up getting robbed or jumped. But with twitter & social media...no one knows "their place."

If you're not careful you'll find your 45 year old self having an argument with some fool who's 19 years old! I told some fool once I'm not arguing with someone about my culture when I'm older enough to be your got damn father!

Trust me...if twitter had a 44+ twitter...there would be waaaaaaaaaaay less dumb shit being said 'round here but because we're "all int he mall at the same time" THAT'S why there's SOOOOOOOOOOOO much dumb shit said on the daily!
