In honor of @John_Garvin, here is a thread containing my favorite parts of the story from #DaysGone. The themes of hope, brotherhood, trust and love play at its core creating an impactful, emotional and real story that really resonated with me and is why Days Gone is so special.
Favorite scene: The Wedding
The flashback sequences were some of my favorite parts. You get to relax from the harsh apocalypse and see their relationship unfold. It was sweet, full of heart and brought me back to real life when I first met my wife.

By the end of this sequence as you head back to Wizard Island, it clicks. They've been through hell and back but their love is the one thing that stays the same and when they realize that it creates such a great feeling for the player.

Favorite character: Deacon St. John
A badass drifter with a huge heart. His journey started by caring for only himself and Boozer, and ended with caring for an entire camp of survivors and the future. He found a reason to live and it was more than just for himself.
