about what I learnt going from a day job to co-founder and CEO of @alloverse during a global pandemic.
As you know, I have been a part of @alloverse for + than a year now. But recently, thanks to @icebreakervc our dream has become reality
Here is what I've learnt since:

As you know, I have been a part of @alloverse for + than a year now. But recently, thanks to @icebreakervc our dream has become reality

1/ Instinct is important. Going full-time on your startup, you'll have to focus on a 1000 things at the same time. Don't underestimate your instinct.
2/ Define your values. Making decisions can't always be done by the whole team. As CEO you are entrusted with many responsibilities. Align the whole team and lead according to your values.
3/ Trust is the foundation. Always think about how you can set up an environment where trust is highly valuable and appreciated by everyone.
4/ Never assume, always presume. Take into account context, research and everything you have on hand. Emotions are good, but don't let them dictate your behaviours.
5/ A mentor will change your life. Reach for help, find those who have gone through it before, make it your mission to gather information and best advice whilst nurturing the team, company and career of your dreams.
6/ Build in Public. You are never as strong as when working together. Leave your pride at the door and make teamwork your mantra.
7/ Nurture your community. Make it your purpose to make those who follow your progress and dream, passionate. So much that they spread your wishes around.
8/ Finally - Reflect, pause, take up hobbies nourishing your soul and sanity, write it all down to process your decisions, actions and plans. SLEEP and eat well.
