A few pre match thoughts:

Most are nervous pre Spurs

We are continually told how good they are - how shiny their ground is - how shiny their training ground is.

This is where we have to focus on us.

When Poch arrived I really rated how he took Arsenal out of the equation
All previous Spurs managers always focussed on Arsenal and never looked at themselves with a clear idea

Poch was different he drove the club to look upwards and in the end he did close that gap in 3-4 years

Arsenal were asleep.

Dual ownership - faded comfortable leadership
Arsenal then wake up and then see the world has moved on without them.

AW goes - we couldn’t quite define our direction.

We wanted a future and the NOW to hold our position in the game.

Elite contracts given to non elite talent.

So now we are in a cycle of real change
We have a single owner - we have young leadership entrusted

This new Arsenal knows where we are.

There is no pretence.

If you don’t admit your problems how can you fix them.

For fans it’s distinctly uncomfortable to realise the damage done to this club over a decade
So NOW:

We have a project driven by a project manager.

The measures are not XG but the next hires ON and OFF the pitch

Results drive serenity of allowing the project to develop

For that more than anything I want a result today

If we don’t win we mustn’t lose focus

Enjoy!
