As seen here Son commits the same offence as Maguire here, one can argue that Maguire's "kick out" was more malicious than Son's. Son receives a red card, Maguire didn't. The score was 0-0 at the time. Maguire goes on to score the winner, United win 2-0.
As seen here, ball comes in from a set piece. Maguire holds César Azpilicueta in a headlock. No penalty given. Both teams showed no sign of intention to win. Match ends in a boring 0-0 draw.
