first things first if you're looking to lose weight, you will need the mentality and perseverance, and you ONLY have to start small
- I started off with cutting off any kind of sugar, only had tea once in a day then stopped it too
- continued with stopping any outside food

the start will be small but you will feel it day by day making you better and you NEED to weigh yourself daily to avoid slacking off, YES there will be days where the weight will increase even on the strictest diets but that's the point, to keep you on your toes
and I cannot stress the importance of discipline, remember this only works if you completely shut off oil, alcohol etc. and I KNOW it WILL feel like the hardest thing in the world at times but PLEASE you need to keep going for yourself and everyone else who is rooting for you
beg your friends to be supportive, it will help. next is diet and exercise.
DIET- I started off by cutting my diet from 4 to 2 meals a day ideally sometimes 3.
2 meals a day seems really hard but not if you take healthy stuff in. I stopped eating wheat rotis and started making jawar/bajra bhakhris. 2 bhakhris and a normal sabzi for lunch and

a bowl of khichdi for dinner and nothing else.
if my cravings went out of control I would take some paneer and put some salt in it with garam masala for a snack.
I would highly avoid cheat meals because of the fear of slipping back into my old routine

I didn't count calories or even have any stupid app to help me with what I need to eat, all that bullshit is to sell you stuff that you don't need, just 2 bhakhris for lunch (will fill your stomach) and khichdi for dinner. this was my diet for 3 months after that point I felt
like I wasn't obese so I continued with 3 meals and having a snack here and there and also I didn't take in any dairy except paneer. I would recommend soya chunks for snacks as well
moving on to the exercise.
RUNNING
that's all I did. all day all night. it is the most addictive thing in the world, once you get used to it. mind you I was 145kg and I know running isn't easy I just used to jog around for 10 minutes a day, that's how you start a

and absolutely FUCK EVERYONE WHO LAUGHS, you're doing this for yourself and only yourself. only one person in this world has your back and it is YOU. never feel any shame in trying to better yourself, if anyone laughs at you direct them to twitter user ffsvirat
to help with the running I installed nike run club, it is the best thing in the world, the guided runs there help a lot, just put in some music you like listen to the coach on the app and run, just enjoy running. you will feel blessed everyday for choosing a tough patn to better
yourself. this is what I did sometimes 5k sometimes 10k. I even walked for an hour or 2 after this if I felt like I had the energy
sorry one more thing about the diet, you can eat as much cucumber as you want . just don't add any salt to it. EAT 10 KG OF CUCUMBERS A DAY IF YOU WANT IT IS BASICALLY WATER.
another thing on the mentality aspect, might sound childish but have sporting idols, listen to what they say. elite sportsmen are a prime example on how you should gain control of yourself physically, listen to them talk about their diet, work ethic, hardship etc
I cannot stress enough on the importance of building a mentality, setting goals, making sure you are motivating yourself when no one else is, and when you see results and people are telling you they see changes in you, it is literally the best thing in the world, believe me
it will take a month maximum to physically see results and that will be all the motivation you need, sorry I couldn't go into details of the diet here but feel free to DM me if you are confused about something or thinking about starting your own journey
thank you
