Fuck it ima do a thread on my favorite villains
Personally i like my villains or antagonists to have some level depth to them. Smth that they went thru that made em who they are, different mindsets, viewpoints etc. villains/antags. usually give insight to the world that’s not generally explored by other characters
Ima keep this spoiler free & drop the name’s of the series at the end, in case any of yall are interested.
1- First on da list is Johan Liebert. Urasawa’s use of clues to convey Johan’s deep,nihilistic philosophy throughout the story was super satisfying to me, especially at the end.
2- “Friend” This nigga is not normal plain and simple LMAO

3. Griffith. Not finna get into his sick n twisted nature... but i will say he’s the most entertaining part of berserk.
4. Takasugi Shinsuke, a man trapped by the things he loves. A great character & amazing antagonist.
5. Askeladd. Mans a goated character. He’s more of antagonist than a villain but still plays his role well.
6. Blackbeard. Bro has 2 devil fruits, do i needa say more? 
7. Doflamingo. Sauciest one piece character imo lmao But fr doe he’s goated as a villain

8. 4th prince, Tserriednich. This man is the best villain Togashi ever made by a WIDE margin. Deadly and talented w potential to be even greater than he already is. Can’t wait for togashi to comeback n finish hxh.
9. Ryofui. He’s charismatic, cunning, & knows how to charm ppl over. But above all else, will do anything for power and mold the world to how he sees fit.
10. Pain. No words needed for the seasoned vet
