veronica fisher: 1/2 of the only main black characters on the show. she is the stereotypical loud black best friend. also that sl in s10 where her “white husband fucked the black out of her”? what the fuck was that
liam gallagher: 2/2 of the only main black characters on the show. they white washed him and his family never tried to help him figure out his identity till fiona was gone and v had more time on her hands and helped him out.

mama kamala: debbies foster mom in s3. she was a foster parent that took in way too many kids and broke way too many laws including child labor laws.

nick: carls friend from juvie. he killed his abusive drug addicted father which led to him going to juvie till he was 18 and released and then later killed a little boy.

todd: liams only black friend from school. he was essentially a bully at first who cheated off of liam and then later became friends with him. he is basically a good character but they stereotyped him as the dumb bully in the beginning.
maVar: he was supposed to be a mentor for liam in s10 and he was actually a good character. but when liam showed his true “gallagher nature” he told liam fuck you and then walked away and never helped him again. him yelling at liam is a basic human reaction but liam was 10.
caleb: ians boyfriend for the duration of s6. he was a cheater who had a savior complex and essentially was just a plot line to help another one of their main white characters. he was also one of the only canon bi characters on the show which they represented terribly.
marty: v’s brother who is bipolar and has tourette’s and was unmedicated. he had just recently broken out of prison and was only shown in one episode.
101: (jimmy clifton) he was a black security guard who was dick and wouldn’t like fiona, v, and jimmysteve back into the club. it was also implied that he worked with the guy who stole fionas purse.
102: no black people other than the two main characters appeared, one of which was a baby at the time who had no lines.
103: two black people appeared in the bg with minimal to no lines alongside the two main characters, one that was still a baby who had no lines.

105: there were two black football players that payed lip to take their sats for them. one of them which later on got really aggressive and tried to throw lip out of a window once his score was invalidated.
carol: v’s mom is not necessarily stereotypical but she is like every black mom which isn’t bad. she’s kind of all around an okay character she just doesn’t have much depth cause she’s a side character.
i think i should also mention that liam didn’t really get lines till christian isaiah began to portray him in s8
roberta or bob: monica’s partner who was stereotyped as an aggressive black woman
201: there was a black guy who made a bet with frank and he was portrayed as a huge aggressive drug dealer
203: malik was introduced in this episode and he was actually portrayed pretty well but there was also another person shown in this episode and her name was tinesha. she was portrayed as a “ratchet” black girl. she was in one scene
note: they had their first black writer in s9 which was wayyy after they had carl say nigga in s6 and that should not fucking sit right with anyone
