Mitch McConnell is blocking aid to American families and small businesses because he wants the stimulus bill to contain language that gives corporations a pass to injure and kill their employees. Specifically with COVID.
You read that right. A full exemption of liability.

I wish I was kidding, but McConnell really is a soulless monster who wants us to suffer and die without recourse.
He's holding up crucial aid because certain lobbies, such as meat packers, demanded this liability shield from coronavirus.

Here's where this madness started.
Is eating meat important enough that we should lose our rights to sue employers that get us sick or worse?
As you could probably guess, I personally don't believe it is.
But the basis for this effort started here.

This is a completely heartless and monstrous industry, so it's quite fitting that they work closely with the Republican party, isn't it?
Workers who've died from COVID are being denied benefits.
As if it's their own fault...
Absolutely horrible.

The immorality of the meat industry is unfathomably wretched. Managers at Tyson had a betting pool on which workers would get sick. Most of these workers come from neglected communities of color and are exploited by these meat packers, then discarded.

The animal agriculture industry is inherently racist not just to its workers, but also the communities that surround the factory farms and meat packing plants.
In this instance they sprayed pig waste, sickening the surrounding communities of color.

So is it really that surprising that they have a total disregard for the health and safety of not just their workers, but the American people? After all the product they sell is one of cruelty to both farmed animals and their employees, and it hurts those who it eat as well.
