I'm going to talk about how the EM relationship has evolved and in particular Eren's feelings.

Eren and Mikasa seen each other for the first time since month. Mikasa told him with eyes full of tears βEren... Please... come home.β At that moment he answerd her with a sweet look. Because the one he loves is was tears because of him.
After the timeskip, Eren changed a lot, he became cold and distant with his friends and the one he loves. This change was notably revealed to us in chapter 112 where he showed himself obnoxious towards Mikasa and Armin.
Thatβs very paradoxical when you know that in a flashback he told his friends how much he cares about them : We have 2 panels that focus on Eren and Mikasa blushing. The emphasis that was placed on them was not insignificant. That meant love.
Eren cried in front of Ramzi, apologizing for the crime he was about to commit. And when Mikasa arrived, he sought comfort from her by asking her whatβs her feeling about him :
βWhat am I to youβ He would simply never have asked this question if he wasn't in love with her. When Mikasa answered "You're family", his gaze was painful and disappointed... Her answer was obviously not what he wanted to hear.
Thatβs why he asked to Sieg about the ackerbond. His lie about Mikasa was reveald. It's as if he wanted to make sure that the woman he loves was free, that he had not enslaved her. And he wasn't even surprised when he answered him. As if deep down he already knew.
When Sieg asked him if he loves her, he eluded the question when nothing prevented him from answering.

Eren has always wanted to be the one who protects Mikasa and not the one she had to protect. As his mother said to him when he was a kid "Behave like a man and protect Mikasa for once." Ans thatβs the words he considered as a goal to be achieved.
First, the defining moment that definitively changed the relationship between Eren and Mikasa is when Eren stood up to fight and seal his promise to Mikasa. He will remain at her side forever and no matter what.
Before that Eren was so jealous because Mikasa was stronger than him and was the one who constantly protected him that he misbehaved with her. Yelling and easily becoming angry with her.
But when she confessed in chapter 50, it was as if he realized that they had been connected all along. From the moment they met. That moment when he bonded with her by wrapping the scarf around her and when he told her to βgo home to our houseβ he definetly gave her his love.
