I rarely find myself on the more positive than critical side when it comes the the #Gators, especially on social media.

But I feel oddly disconnected from the perceived reality of the UF fan base at the moment.

Like everyone’s just waiting for the worst possible thing cuz 2020.
Weird thing is it feels like main reason for apprehension from UF fans is ‘15 and ‘16 deja vu.

But big picture that is absolutely not the focus, to me. Even if UF loses in Atlanta (I’m way less sure of that than some), do you trust Dan Mullen will keep building forward?
I sure do based on everything I’ve seen so far.

I get how frustrating it would be to “waste” a once-a-decade QB like Kyle Trask with a failed championship run.

But I feel really, really confident based on what we’ve seen this ain’t a catching lightning in a bottle run for UF.
Dan Mullen has a super high floor. That gives you leeway in a cutthroat league like the SEC to take more time to find the ceiling.

And the ceiling if the other parts get up to snuff over time and you hit paydirt on another QB (pretty likely with Mullen in charge)?

Hoo boy.
