This is a company that I have specifically avoided engaging because their entire reason for existence is fundamentally and irredeemably antithetical to ethical approaches to teaching and assessment. #AgainstSurveillance #OnlineExams #OnlineProctoring @Procteario

However, @MHEducation has signed a deal with this surveillance malware company so that faculty who use their ancillary resources can access proctorio's student surveillance tools. #AgainstSurveillance #OnlineExams #OnlineProctoring @Procteario

This means that a faculty member can bypass institutional policies and engage with unethical surveillance companies with zero oversight. #AgainstSurveillance #OnlineExams #OnlineProctoring @Procteario

In this particular case, the use of this surveillance malware disproportionately affected learners in China, *who were already affected by having to write a proctored exam at 4am* #OnlineExams #OnlineProctoring @Procteario
