thinking a lot about shinomiti and how their primary interaction in the 1st anni event is based on the idea that mitile isn't good enough and shino sees some sort of value in him and places his trust in him even if it's mostly for heath

the idea of mitile not being Good enough is like doubly hammered in with the figaro shopkeeper stuff and obviously how figaro is going about trying to prevent the prophecy is just giving mitile an inferiority complex

anyway imo the main appeal of shinomiti is it's two people who think they are Not Good Enough but go about it internally and externally in different ways..

like shino is very cocky yet his internalized value is hinged on another person

i can't dare touch this person, i can't dare to be equal to this person.
