First, a little about me:
I first stumbled across "porn" on the App Store at around 8-10 years old
Then, it was just images of women in lingerie or topless with "Buy the app to see" censorship
I had no money so I never saw anything
But it didn't take long until I did.

By the time I was 14 I was watching porn videos every chance I got
In my room, in the bathroom, before leaving the house, sometimes even on the couch with family around
Nothing stopped me . . . until I got caught by my parents.

Soon I was back into my old habits and it only escalated when I got my first self-phone.
When I turned 16 I started sexting with people I didn't even know.
By 17, I realized I had a problem.

That's when I started learning what porn was truly doing to my brain and behaviors
I couldn't talk to women, I couldn't approach them, and I had no idea what a healthy relationship looked like
All I knew was my brain had changed and I needed a way out.
So I tried cold-turkey.

And while I knew exactly how to quit, I had no idea how to do it.
I had all the head knowledge but couldn't muster the strength to put it into practice.

Soon I started turning to accountability partners
But even then, I'd never reach out to them when I was struggling

I'd tell myself I'd quit after a bad relapse binge, but then I'd fall into the same traps.
For a few days, I'd be clean, then I'd relapse and stay in the pit for days at a time.
This cycle continued for months until one fateful afternoon.

I already had porn loaded on my phone and I was scrolling, looking for something I liked.
Then this crazy thought came into my head that changed everything.
