I hate to break it to you but challenge trials would have done approximately nothing to speed up vaccine approvals and using that approach or not has zero to do with why transmission is out of control.

And the FDA moving slowly about regulatory decisions isn’t because there was no human challenge trial data to analyze, nor is it because they aren’t working hard or fast enough. The FDA doesn’t design or oversee clinical trials. They review the data and regulate the vaccines.
If you don’t know this and your primary qualification to speak on the topic is being a dude with opinions and emotions, maybe reserve hot takes like “FDA is slow because there were no human challenge trials.” Good lord.
