My grandmother wants a new sweater and has described what she would like over the phone. She doesn’t have a smartphone so I can’t show her stuff over video from the store so we’re relying on my judgement here in a situation where I have little experience.
She also wants a new winter hat and I’ve found that already so I feel at least a little bit of accomplishment on this task.
I’ve never understood these sizes. How is this an XXL?
There is a shirt a few racks over that is bigger in size but is apparently a medium?
There is a group of women looking at me in a “what is he doing?” fashion as I measure things in the air.
I walked over and told them what I was up to. I have a shopping crew now.
They helped with the selection. Going to go drop it off in a little while.

She loves the hat and the sweater and the fit was spot on. I received a drink for the road.
