Needless to say, he was black. But Casey wasn’t even the person police were looking for. The police are concealing the full story and will continue to hide it under their “investigation” while his loved ones mourn the loss of their son, their brother, their cousin, their friend.
Casey’s relative said he was walking in his home with his keys in one hand and his subway in another when police shot him in the back three times behind the front screen door. He had his ccws, had no warrants and was clearly non-threatening.
Police haven’t reported any of this information. Instead, they’ve disclosed that police “saw a man driving down the street waving a gun.” Nothing else.
