Takeout / delivery food I love in San Francisco:
All of the Argentinian empanadas at Woods, also at El Porteño at the Ferry building and online

Arepas en bici: halal and vegan arepas by bicycle (or pickup in the Tenderknob) by chef Victor. The tequeños are also a cheesy fave. https://www.arepasenbici.com/menu
I’m obsessed with the Alexander / Iskander kebab at Van Ness cafe https://www.vannessgyrosf.com/order?l=en-US
The pork gyros, Greek wine and homemade Greek yogurt with baklava crumbles at the Argentum Project https://theargentumproject.com/
The kosher baked goods at Frena https://frenabakery.com/product-category/store-pickup/
The Uzbek samosa with an entire lamb chop inside it at Halal Dastarkhan https://halaldastarkhan.com/menu/
The bbq pork shoulder / kor moo yang at Sai Jai Thai. Available on its own, in a Thai ‘salad’ or on top of rice http://saijaithaisf.com/
Crispy larb wanton and saap wings at Saap Ver. https://www.saapver.com/menu
Incredibly good, as good as HK, bolo buns at Pineapple King (note: there is no pineapple in pineapple bun). http://www.pineapplekingbakery.com/ check out their top 10 bun family tree on their site to help you decide on fillings
Everything on the menu at Mong Thu. I like no 8: kinda like a deconstructed banh mi. Bread with pork ball stew on the side. The regular banh mi is also great. And the chao long and bun rieu http://mongthu.com/
I really love the larb burger and fried chicken egg Benedict at Lapisara https://www.lapisaraeatery.com/menu
Japanese sandwiches, hojiacha cake and pickup for Oakland’s famed Soba Ichi at Family Cafe in North Beach https://family-cafe-sf.square.site/
Um, Basque cheesecake by the slice (or whole with special offer) with my miso caramel drizzled on it at El Lopo https://www.elloposf.com/
Burrito with a whole chicharron piece in it at La Espiga de Oro. Everything else there is also great but this is my absolute fave
Continuing my thread! I also love the dosa, biryani and chicken 65 at Aditi Indian Cuisine in the Mission, where I go for Indian food without going to the South Bay. Also, Pakwan for Pakistani but I crave that far less. If in South Bay, Appakadai for sure!
Also in the Mission: my fave spots there other than La Espiga de Oro are: La Palma, La Gallinita (Belmar Meat Market) and El Gallo Giro.
For sandwiches I am partial to: the Boy Deli, Limoncello and Saigon Sandwich!
I often crave Chinese / Vietnamese porridge. For that, chao long at Tu Kim or Mong Thu; and pehdan congee at Dim Sum Bistro. Also at Guo Kum in Oakland Chinatown
